Comeback queen who helped to re ignite the franchise.
Natalyia Simonova is a Russian computer programmer working at the Severnaya base on missile guidance systems when her world is turned upside down by an attack from General Oroumov and Xenia Onatopp. The only survivor, she is captured by Ouromov along with Bond who rescues her and set out on their mission to stop the renegade General. She is instrumental in destroying the Goldeneye satellite
The first Polish actress to be a Bond girl, Isabella Scorupco was born in 1970 and was only one year old when her parents separated. She went to live with her mother and when she was 8, they moved to Sweden where she became adept in speaking both Swedish and English.
I was born in Poland I came to Sweden when I was eight and always wanted to act and suddenly ended up in a Bond movie which was for me at that time absolutely enormous. I was the good Bond girl, but I wanted to have the dresses and the high heels. I wanted the funky, sexy name.

Modelling was again her chosen career path to begin with until; she was discovered by a Swedish director who cast her in the film “Nobody loves like us”. After a brief career as a pop singer, releasing an album that went gold in Sweden, she finally became a star when she was cast in the big comeback film of the Bond franchise, Goldeneye.
The film was a massive success and so was Isabella winning plaudits for her performance such as “she was exactly what the franchise needed to get back on top after a lengthy time away from the big screen”
When I do something I give everything, so it has to be something that I really want to go for.
After Bond, she reportedly turned down the role of female lead in “L.A.Confidential” and similarly in “The Mask Of Zorro”. She has one daughter from a pervious marriage to a Polish hockey player and in 2003 married her second husband Jeffrey Raymond with whom she has a son. Though never reaching the heights of her Bond stardom, she has continued to work as an actress, model and singer.
